Services

Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes long and are typically weekly, although we can meet at a frequency that works best to meet your needs.  Sessions can be provided in English, American Sign Language (ASL) and Spanish.

Group therapy sessions are 90 minutes long and are typically weekly.  Group therapy is an especially effective form of treatment to address interpersonal and relational concerns, self-growth, and self-understanding.  Dr. Klein has trained extensively in group psychotherapy both through membership in the American Group Psychotherapy Association since 2008 and training through the Center for Group Studies since 2019.  She also co-authored a book chapter on the topic of Group Psychotherapy and Disability/Health Concerns.

Please inquire about current groups and meeting times.

How to Begin

If you decide you might like to start therapy, I offer a complimentary fifteen-minute phone or video consultation before setting up an initial appointment. During this meeting, you can share your concerns, what you would like to work on in therapy, get to know me, and ask questions. If we agree we are a good match to work together, we will schedule an appointment to further clarify your concerns and goals.

No Surprises Act Notice

The Federal No Surprises Act went into effect on January 1, 2022 to protect patients from surprise medical bills. As a result, all licensed health providers who offer out of network services are required to post a notice of “your rights and protections against surprise medical bills.” You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.  You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.  For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
